Roundtable Discussion of Consumerism Now Online

WDI Executive Director Bob Kennedy participated in a panel discussion titled, “Is Consumerism Sustainable?” on Friday, Nov. 16. The discussion, moderated by Kai Ryssdal of American Public Media’s Marketplace, is available for viewing here.
The event was presented by the Ross School of Business and Michigan Radio.
Joining Kennedy, the Tom Lantos Professor of Business Administration, on the panel were:
- Andrew J. Hoffman, Associate Director of the Erb Institute for Global Sustainable Enterprise at the University of Michigan; Holcim (US) Professor of Sustainable Enterprise with joint appointments in the Stephen M. Ross School of Business and School of Natural Resources & Environment.
- James P. Walsh, Gerald and Esther Carey Professor of Business Administration, Professor of Management and Organizations, Professor of Strategy, President-elect of the American Academy of Management.
