Submission Guidelines

The William Davidson Institute Policy Briefs Series is aimed at an informed, but non-academic, audience interested in policy topics in emerging markets. The series seeks to communicate research results, document best practices, and share opinions from business leaders and policymakers, with a practitioner audience.
  1. Policy briefs which explore any topics central to transition and emerging markets are welcome.
  2. Submissions should be 5-10 pages in length, use 12 point, times new roman font, and be in MS Word format.
  3. All documents should be single spaced, with double spaces between paragraphs.
  4. Your title page should include title, and authors name(s), and affiliation.
  5. Numbered headings should be included. Briefs should begin with a summary/overview and conclude with recommendations.
  6. Please do not use footers (including page numbers). Footnotes are acceptable.
  7. Please include a brief bio (no more than 2 short paragraphs).
  8. Please include a brief description of the content (no more than 2 - 4 sentences) that can be used on the website.
  9. Review committee may communicate with author to suggest content and format edits.
  10. Please also include your contact information with submission.
