Alimentos de Argentina was born of a partnership between the several companies, international organizations, and nonprofit organizations to provide fortified meals for institutional dining rooms and social aid programs. The organization’s reach has expanded by coordinating their efforts with other organizations to plan and organize campaigns on nutritional assistance, nutritional control, training, education and human and community development, as well as deliver school books to children and teachers in 2,000 schools.
Alimentos de Argentina serves as a model of the potential for cross-sector partnerships to address social problems.
