Susan Kennedy graduated with honors with a BBA from the Ross School of Business and a History of Art minor from the University of Michigan. While at school, Kennedy founded the Wolverine Sales Club, a club devoted to enhancing members’ communication abilities and career opportunities. She developed her interest in sales by interning for Filtrbox, a start-up internet software company based in Boulder, Colorado (now bought out by Jive software) where she contributed to the company covering its operating expenses for the first time in its existence.
Additionally, she served as the website chair for her sorority, Pi Beta Phi, and was an avid volunteer for Michigan Reach Out, where she mentored Ann Arbor middle schools students. She furthered her undergraduate experience through the “Michigan in Washington” (DC) program, where she spent a semester studying political science, conducting base-of-the-pyramid research, and interning for the International Franchise Association. In the summer of 2010 she also studied political science and international business in Bulgaria through the Fulbright International Summer Institute. In her free time, she plays competitive golf, spends time with her family, and works on her personal blog.
