The Malaria Taxes and Tariffs Advocacy Project (M-TAP) is about
understanding the role of taxes and tariffs on price and access to ant
malarial commodities. The initiative is also tasked with developing an
advocacy and communication Strategy. The goal of this project is to
identify and minimize the direct and indirect negative impacts of taxes
and tariffs on anti malarial commodities through targeted policy reform
and advocacy.
This project is funded by the Gates Foundation. WDI is partnering on
this project with the Academy for Education Development (AED).
