A WDI Global Impact student intern from 2011 recently gave a presentation at the XIX International AIDS Conference in Washington, D.C. on the work he performed while on his internship.
The latest group of 29 women from the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women Entrepreneur Certificate Program, which is organized and designed by the William Davidson Institute (WDI) in cooperation with the School of Finance and Banking (SFB) in Kigali, Rwanda, recently took part in commencement ceremonies that were attended by the country’s First Lady. That brings the total of program graduates to 240 since it began in September 2008.
WDI’s Base of the Pyramid (BoP) Research Initiative was recently featured in a Detroit News column.
WDI Senior Research Fellow Ted London and WDI Researcher Heather Esper took part in sessions on August 6 at the Academy of Management (AOM) annual meeting in Boston.
