WDI Senior Research Fellow Ted London will be one of the guest speakers at a daylong event honoring the late C.K. Prahalad during the Ross School of Business reunion weekend.
HR executives from Central and Eastern Europe will gather in Vienna Oct. 20-21 for the fall workshop for WDI’s Strategic Human Resources Network Europe (SHRNE). The workshop will be led by Shirli Kopelman, a negotiation professor at the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, who will talk to the executives about “Negotiating Mindfully: How HR Professionals Can Tap the Power of Positive & Negative Emotions in Organizations.”
Daniella Ballou-Aares, who created the Global Health Practice for the strategic consulting firm Dalberg,was a WDI Global Impact Speaker on Oct. 12. While at WDI, she sat down for a one-on-one interview and gave a talk.
More than 70 senior human resources managers from 12 Latin American countries will be attending an Executive Education program in Miami to learn how to integrate human resources management into their organizational strategy and bring meaningful change to their organizations. The program is being organized by the William Davidson Institute and its Latin America-based partner, Seminarium.
