WDI’s Yadav Talks Personalized Medicine In Emerging Markets

WDI Senior Fellow Prashant Yadav recently spoke with a reporter on the impact of personalized medicine – the customization of health care in which medical decisions are tailored to the individual patient – in India and other emerging markets.

Yadav said in an interview with ETHealthworld.com that while personalized medicine is still in its infancy globally, he discussed the factors that are needed for it to catch on quickly in not only the U.S. and Europe, but also India and other emerging countries. He also talked about the “winners and losers” if personalized medicine grows, and why oncology is where personalized medicine may have the first, biggest impact.
