Kyle Poplin is the Editor of NextBillion’s Healthcare blog and is responsible for interviewing, writing and editing articles, as well as social media outreach. He has more than 25 years of experience in editing for newspapers and magazines. Prior to joining WDI, Poplin led a team that launched Bluffton Today, a daily that explored the use of reader-generated content and hyper-local citizen journalism. He is also the publisher and editor of The Ann, a monthly news magazine. Poplin has a Master of Business Administration degree and a Bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Georgia. He also earned a Knight-Wallace fellowship at the University of Michigan.
