Alumni Volunteer Opportunities

In partnership with the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, the William Davidson Institute (WDI) is pleased to offer Ross School alumni a unique volunteer opportunity to work with programs/partners in low- and middle-income countries around the world. The alumni program matches the skills and experiences of the alumni with the needs of the partner in the field.

As a volunteer, your role could be:

  • Adviser/Coach to a WDI intern who is working in an emerging market during a 12-week summer internship or,
  • Teacher/Expert to an entrepreneur development organization seeking industry experts to train entrepreneurs in their field of expertise within an emerging market. This opportunity is offered in collaboration with the Michigan Academy for the Development of Entrepreneurs (MADE).

WDI will provide funding for airfare, connect you with the partner organizations and provide the necessary background information about the project. Alumni will arrange for time away from work for the volunteer opportunity (1 or more weeks).

If interested, please visit the Ross Alumni Volunteer web page and provide the required information.
