Overview

WDI’s Healthcare sector team provides consulting services to a wide variety of health-focused organizations with current or potential operations in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). Our partners are both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations, including national and multinational donors. We advise our partners on projects ranging from strategic recommendations to detailed operational guidance. Many of these collaborations have focused on specific challenges along the healthcare value chain, such as healthcare delivery, procurement and supply chain, within LMICs. Within the area of healthcare delivery, we take a systems approach by training and advising healthcare businesses, investors, and international organizations, empowering them with the tools to manage and deliver effective and efficient care. Regardless of the project, we apply the tools of commercial success to the business challenges our partners face, harness the expertise of University of Michigan researchers and scholars, and offer our own experience and relationships within these markets, to serve our partners.
