The CSP group asked Arney and Prashant Yadav, director of WDI’s Healthcare Research Initiative, to provide key inputs and guidance in the creation of global demand forecasts for reproductive health/family planning products, specifically the Jadelle implant and Depo-Provera. The group was created to achieve greater efficiencies and reduce global supply risk to all programs receiving reproductive health/family planning commodity support from UNFPA (the United Nations Population Fund) and the U.S. Agency for International Development.

The group is comprised of representatives from USAID’s Commodity Security and Logistics Division (CSL), UNFPA’s Procurement Services Branch (PSB), the USAID DELIVER PROJECT, the Implants Access Programs (IAP), the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI), and the Reproductive Health Supplies Coalition (RHSC).
