Caroline Lucas

Caroline Lucas (MBA/MS 2019) co-founded the University of Michigan International Investment Fund (IIF), the first student-run to invest in small- and medium-enterprises outside the United States. After studying international policy at Chapman University and working for a financial inclusion nonprofit in Washington, D.C., Lucas served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Armenia. For two years, she developed a handicraft export business employing local women and developed entrepreneurship education programs.

While completing the Erb Institute dual-degree with the Ross School of Business and School for Environment and Sustainability, she pursued her passion for equipping entrepreneurs with the tools for commercial success with projects for several clients across East Africa, India and Armenia. After graduation, Caroline will be a Senior Strategy Consultant at Accenture and looks forward to continuing her passion for international economic development.
