Douglas Ely
Douglas Ely (MBA/MS 2021) has focused his career on connecting developing local solutions to global problems for vulnerable groups, both domestically and internationally. Before graduate studies, Ely taught middle school math and science in Teach For America St. Louis, developed national educational outreach programs for undermatched students at 270 Strategies, worked in strategy and marketing at a social marketing in conservation firm, and designed leadership development products for social entrepreneurs worldwide as a part Ashoka Changemakers.
Ely leads operations for the International Investment Fund. He worked at Savorists and Wolf & Heron in the summer of 2020 and will continue his degree program in 2020-21. Douglas graduated from Boston University with a degree in International Relations and is an alum of the International Honors Program that focused on comparative urban studies in Brazil, South Africa, and New Zealand.
