Jefferson Williams

Professor Williams is a Lecturer of Accounting at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. He joined the faculty in 1996. He teaches financial accounting at the undergraduate and the graduate levels, and federal taxation at the graduate level. In addition to his teaching responsibilities at the Ross School, Prof. Williams serves as a classroom instructor for the Becker CPA Exam Review. He has taught classes covering all four sections of the Uniform CPA Exam administered by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Prior to joining the faculty of the Ross School of Business, Prof. Williams worked as a Certified Public Accountant in the states of Tennessee and South Carolina. He is a member of the Tax Section of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Prof. Williams is coauthor of Financial Accounting: A Business Prospective, 10th Edition (Textbook Media Press, 2013), and he is in the process of revising a managerial accounting textbook slated for publication in 2015.
