It seeks to position the concept of inclusive distribution chains, which is based on a multi-partnership approach as a strategy to contribute to poverty reduction.
The SCALA Observatory is a project of the School of Management of the University of the Andes, with multilateral financial support, that seeks to study and position Inclusive Distribution Networks (IDN) initiatives, which include vulnerable population in the distribution, sales and maintenance activities of a good or service. The SCALA Observatory is supported by the Multilateral Investment Fund of the Interamerican Bank of Development (IADB/MIF), the International Center of Investigation for the Development (IDRC) of Canada and the Citi Foundation.
El Observatorio SCALA es un proyecto de la Facultad de Administración de la Universidad de los Andes, con apoyo multilateral, que busca estudiar y posicionar las iniciativas de Redes de Distribución Inclusiva (RDI), que incluyen a la población vulnerable en las actividades de distribución, venta y mantenimiento de un bien o servicio.
El Observatorio SCALA cuenta con el Fondo Multilateral de Inversiones del Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID/FOMIN), el Centro Internacional de Investigación para el Desarrollo (IDRC) de Canadá, la Fundación Citi y la Red SEKN como socios estratégicos.
