Review of Internal Processes and Systems for Eye Hospital
2011Overview
Aravind is the largest, most productive eye care facility in the world, encompassing several hospitals, a center for ophthalmic products, and an international research foundation. The student MAP team reviewed Aravind’s processes and organization and looked for new opportunities in the market. The team also analyzed how to integrate some new hospitals in one of India’s states. In 2009, WDI and Aravind worked together on another MAP project that produced a detailed recruitment plan and roadmap for building training institutions.
