WDI delivers short in-person and online certificate programs on leadership and human resources, in collaboration with Seminarium International in Latin America. These programs help managers strengthen engagement, build trust, and promote employee well-being while aligning HR practices with organizational goals. Program offerings include: Developing a Culture of Employee Engagement, Organizational Culture & Employee Engagement, and Strategic Talent Development: A Skills-Based, Experiential Approach.
In partnership with Adaptive Change Advisors (ACA), WDI delivers training that equips leaders to navigate complexity and drive change. Adaptive Leadership is a field-tested framework that helps leaders thrive in uncertainty by mobilizing people, encouraging learning, and driving lasting progress. ACA’s approach democratizes leadership—making practical tools accessible to individuals and organizations worldwide.
Programs include immersive Adaptive Leadership workshops, short masterclasses, and train-the-trainer options that allow organizations to embed adaptive tools into their own leadership development.
Since 2015, WDI and its partners have provided NGO Leadership Workshops to non-profit leaders from across Central and Southeastern Europe. Together, we now offer two NGO Leadership Workshops annually making the world more civically engaged and peaceful.
Covering marketing, strategic planning, fundraising, and management, the workshops empower leaders to strengthen their internal expertise, managerial and income-generating capacities, improve their ability to engage with both private sector, nonprofit and government stakeholders, and to develop international networks. Workshops take place in Slovakia and Poland in the spring and fall.
Those interested in attending either workshop are required to submit applications. Selected applicants will attend tuition-free, lodging will be provided and transportation costs reimbursed.
Held in partnership with the Weiser Center for Europe and Eurasia and Bratislava-based Hekima, this workshop is open to NGO leaders from the following countries: Albania, Armenia, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Georgia, Hungary, Kosovo, Moldova, Montenegro, N. Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, and Ukraine. Topics of focus include resilience, fundraising, leadership, and social media marketing.
