Business Education Disrupted: An Opportunity for Redesign

Covid has caused widespread disruption in education, creating an opportunity for fresh thinking. In this paper, we revisit a 60+ year-old framework, Bloom's taxonomy, and show how we have used it.

Covid has caused widespread disruption in education, creating an opportunity for fresh thinking. How might we adapt business education to meet the needs of a fast-changing, post-Covid world? Education can be delivered in a variety of modes — including synchronously, asynchronously, in person and remotely. How does an instructor determine which mode will be most effective in a given situation? In this paper, we revisit a 60+ year-old framework, Bloom’s taxonomy, and show how we have used it.
