The WDI healthcare team assessed the health impacts of COVID-19 on the social and economic situation in countries that are on the path to graduation from “least-developed” status. The health impact report forms part of the series of the COVID-19 impact assessments prepared under the aegis of a joint project between the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the Enhanced Integrated Framework. The findings of this work were presented to the WTO least-developed countries group in December 2020 and fed into the Triennial Review of the Committee for Development Policy of the United Nations in February 2021.
