About

Colm Fay is a Research Fellow at the William Davidson Institute (WDI) at the University of Michigan, supporting programs in Energy and Mobility and Climate Health. He is also an independent consultant who supports conservation and environmental organizations through strategy, business planning, and facilitated learning processes to help social enterprises, nonprofits and foundations translate complexity into action.

Previously, he served as Senior Director of Market Strengthening at the United Nations Foundation, where he co-led a $20M+ clean energy investment and technical assistance program reaching over four million people across Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia. Before that, he spent six years at WDI leading research on energy access and inclusive business models.
