Ekta Jhaveri is a Program Manager, Climate-Health sector at the William Davidson Institute. Her role involves advancing market-based solutions to scale innovations in the clean cooling and clean cooking industries. Previously, she was part of WDI’s Health team where she worked on projects across healthcare delivery, health systems strengthening, and market dynamics. Ekta’s prior experience includes working at the World Bank on education and social protection issues in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) and East Asia and Pacific (EAP) regions. She led various initiatives for the Bank’s Global Child Labor Program and managed key partnerships with UNICEF and ILO. Her professional experience also includes working at Meritor, Inc., a leading automotive supplier, where she was part of the Emerging Leaders Development Program.
Jhaveri holds an MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and a Master’s degree in economics from Tufts University. She has limited proficiency in French and is fluent in Hindi and Gujarati.
